Here is some of the gear I use:

www.M-Audio.com
M-Audio just makes great stuff and I know I can relay on them. I have a Key Station Pro 88 keyboard as my main keyboard and a Oxygen 8v2 keyboard for my playing faster stuff without the weight. I use the BX8a monitors and a Mobile Pre Amp. I love the mobile pre because I can record any where I can bring my computer.

www.Motu.com
I love all the MOTU software because you cannot beat the quality of their samples for the price. I have the Symphonic Instrument (go and look at the mp3 examples) and use it on basically everything I do in one way or another. I also have Ethno which has a ton of ethnic instruments that I cannot pronounce but love using and it sounds amazing.

www.Sony.com
I know I shouldn't be on Windows doing things (and trust me I wish I wasn't) but this is one advantage. I use Sound Forge on everything and it is great for the audio trickery that I cant do in my sequencer and I will miss it when I switch the studio over to Mac. I also use Acid Pro which is okay, I am in the market for a new loop program though but it gets the jobs done for the time being.

www.Fender.com
Just the name Fender makes you think of some great guitarist and amazing musicians. I have a Telecaster Deluxe and it's just an all around great instrument. Beautifully made and it sounds fantastic and the people at Fender always take care of me. Once, I broke a piece off the neck off and sent it back to them and they sent it back fixed and cleaned ready to go. I use it for recording and live performance but unfortunately they discontinued it otherwise I would recommend you buy one.

www.ErnieBall.com
I only use Ernie Ball on all my guitars and I love them. I also like to use their electric strings on my acoustics, I like the raw sound that it gives. I have good luck with them not breaking which is nice, especially during a live gig.
